DeSimone’s Clubhouse
1633 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH

There was talk of holding Shoe Suede Blues over for another night but that won’t be happening this tour but we hope to bring him back for another show at another time - everyone had a super great time - they put on a extraordinary show that even had a few old Monkee tunes in there for sing-alongs which the entire audience did help out with! Thanks to the entire band for such a GREAT nite!!

************************

Peter Tork is a former member of the world-famous 1960s pop group, The Monkees. He plays a myriad of instruments, including the 5-string banjo, piano/keyboard, drums, guitar, and bass. Peter realized a real love affair with the blues sometime during the 1990’s. The result of that love is called Shoe Suede Blues. The band delivers a heartfelt, soulful, uplifting and quite unforgettable mixture, divined from their vision of what music is all about. Peter Tork and Shoe Suede Blues…witness that the heart and soul of music lives. Peter plays guitar / keys and sings lead and backup for Shoe.

Arnold Jacks, is a much sought after and well respected side man who can hold down a bass line with the best in the business. AJ joined Shoe Suede Blues in the winter of 2006 and hit the ground running. He is simply one of the most phenomenal bass players around.

John Palmer has recorded and toured with Rockabilly legend Ronnie Dawson, appearing with Dawson on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. He has also performed with such artists as The 5th Dimension, The Diamonds, The Penguins, and Sha Na Na. John is one of the premiere Rockabilly drummers performing today.

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of guitarist Richard Mikuls.

January 25, 1952 - June 9, 2008

Our thoughts and prayers are with his familly, band mates, and friends, and hope that in time they will find comfort in the special memories he left behind in both his music and his life.

Richard Mikuls had shared the stage and the recording studio with such legendary artists as Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, BB King, Ike and Tina Turner, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, and The Pointer Sisters. Richard had also produced music for TV shows and movies such as Ellen, Home Improvement, Unhappily Ever After, Boy Meets World, Doctor Detroit, The Last Dance, as well as TV commercials for Paul Mitchell, Coors Beer, Isuzu, and Honda - Acura. Richard played guitar and sang lead / back up vocals for Shoe Suede Blues.

Another guitarist will be joining the Shoe Suede Blues for the continuation of the tour.

Limited tickets available, buy yours early.

Niteout Productions and DeSimone’s Clubhouse present TC & the Roadmasters on Saturday, March 29. Show starts at 9:00pm at DeSimone’s Clubhouse, 1633 W. Laskey Rd. Toledo, OH 43612. Cover is $5 for the public and $2 for blues society members.

Like a hellhound on your trail, this band hits the stage runnin’! From up-tempo shuffles & staggerin’ slow blues to driving blues rock, the band marks territory everywhere it plays. Dressed sharp & steppin’, their stories of the human condition unfold to the crowd.

TC DeLisle - vocals, guitar, keys
The Slideman drives his band like a man possessed. Leading the Roadmasters through their shows while switch hitting on guitar and keys, the old man shouts out the colorful stories.

Hurricane Rose - harp, vocals & percussion
Blowin’ like a Gulf storm aimed at Nawlins, this gal makes it rain sideways while singin’ & shakin’ that thing!

Marty King - drums & vocals
Boulevard Marty, sets out the groove that drives the juggernaut across the musical landscape.

Chuck Rule - bass & vocals
Locking on the groove like a pair of Vise-Grips on a rusty bolt, this man plays the money notes that puts them happy feet on the dance floor.

Tony Riske - guitar & vocals
Young Tony, carryin’ the torch for the next gen of blusers, is hangin’ out with an older crowd and infusing the mix with his phrasing & tone.

Reverend Robert Sexton’s All Star Blues Review at DeSimone’s Clubhouse. CD release party and Sue’s birthday bash!

›› 11/10/2007
Chef Chris & the Rump Shakers at DeSimone’s Clubhouse. Chef Chris proved to the Toledo audience that he doesn’t have to be cooking in the kitchen to make it Hot & Smokey as he cooked up a gumbo of music on stage for them this night.

›› 07/20/2007
The Twistin’ Tarantulas played Rolly’s birthday bash at DeSimones. Hundreds gathered to party with the tipsy, stage diving founder of Nite Out Productions.

›› 06/09/2007
It was our great pleasure to bring Roger “Hurricane” Wilson to Toledo, he always puts on a dynamite show! He’s also an all around nice guy! The storm rolled in from Atlanta, Sat. June 9th at Longhorn Saloon. Opening the show was a very special reunion performance by Laurie Swyers & Blue Sun, who brought the house down in what was their first performance in over two years. It was stupendous! Great Show!!

›› 04/20/2007
Nite Out Production’s first show!
Ronnie Baker Brooks appeared at the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grille, on Friday, April 20, 2007. He is one of the Blues greatest entertainers - he doesn’t just play the blues, he loves to entertain the entire audience and always puts on a terrific show - he was on fire this night and gave us all a soulful and energy driven night, three powerful sets - no one wanted it to end! It was great seeing him again. Opening Act was Rod’s Collision who also put on a great show, the guys always have great fun on stage and its contagious.
